Armed Forces Day
is the third Saturday in May
On this day we show our appreciation to the armed forces of the United States for protecting us and our land--keeping us safe!

about the
American Armed Forces here at the Ducksters Website.
Armies & Borders
The United States, like other nations,
has armed forces to protect them.
These are people who are armed with weapons
to fight off anyone who would try and harm us,
take away our land, or our stuff.
We call these armed forces the army, navy,
air force, marines, and coast guard.
Most importantly, we trust God to take care of us.
The more we honor God, and walk in His ways,
the more of His protection we have.
But God also uses our military to keep us safe.
When some people see that we have a big military,
they won’t even think about trying to attack us.
God have given us a beautiful country,
and we need to take care of it,
and protect it from those who would try and invade it,
and use the land in a way that dishonors God.
