A Biblical View of America's Issues for KIDS
By the time Jesus was 12
years old, He knew God
was His Father.
He knew that He was the
Son of God, and He
prepared for His life by
studying the Word of God.
Learning
Learning is something you will do your whole life.
From the time you are born you begin learning.
Your learn a lot from your parents and family just by being around them.
Then there's school, and learning things that will help you function in our world. Things like reading, writing, and math.
There are many other things to learn too. So many things that one person can't learn everything there is to know.
But God knows everything, and He knows what you need to learn.
He has a plan for you that is good.
He knows exactly what you need to learn.
He knows what kinds of talents and interests you have.
He knows what you like and don't like.
He knows what's good for you and what isn't.
Ask Him what kinds of things you need to know.
Ask Him to help you learn so you can be prepared for life.
He is waiting to show you!
Jesus in the Temple
Jesus was learning and preparing for His purpose in life by the time He was 12 years old!
Jesus Growing Up
Jesus grew up like any other kid, but He was prepared for God's call when the time came.
Jesus at 12
Another version of the story of Jesus in the temple. On one of their trips to Jerusalem, Jesus stayed behind and His parents couldn't find Him.
Talk to Jesus
You can talk to Jesus now! You don't have to wait until you are a grown up!
The Plans I Have for You
God has a plan for your life. It's a good plan. You can find out from Him what these plans are! Just ask Him!
