Throughout the Bible, we see the concept of free will. From the beginning when God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden, and then told them not to eat of it and what the consequence would be, all the way to the end when Jesus tell us to preach the Gospel to people so they can choose to believe in Him (Genesis 2:17, Joshua 24:15, James 4:8, Mark 16:16). God does not force a person to do what they do not want to do. He warns, He guides, He teaches, but He placed us here to learn to make right choices. Sometimes, thankfully, He intervenes in mercy.
A terrorist is someone who threatens to use violent force to make someone do something they do not want to do. A terrorist will use force to steal, kill, rape, or gain power in some way. Terrorism and threats are not God's way. Yes, at times there are consequences, and warnings, but God is raising up a people who are humble, loving and loyal to Him and His ways at all costs.
