Week 27

 

 2 Timothy 2:3-4. A Good Soldier.

 

We are called as soldiers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are in active service and are not to entangle ourselves in the affairs of everyday life. Our call as a soldier is to please God, who enlisted us, above all else. The comforts of everyday life are not more important than our warrior call for the Lord.

"Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier."
